Dianne MacKenzie - Founder, Ardoch Coaching
Growing up in the Scottish Highlands, my life has been infused with rhythm and reflection. A lifelong musician, I began playing the bagpipes and piano in childhood and continue to find inspiration and grounding through music and the outdoors.
With over two decades of experience in educational leadership - including roles as a Headteacher, Depute Headteacher, Quality Improvement Officer and Associate Assessor with His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Education - I have spent my career navigating complex systems, supporting others through change, and championing growth.
It was in these environments that I first witnessed the transformative power of coaching. The coaching elements I integrated into my leadership roles consistently yielded meaningful outcomes, and the subtle yet profound shifts I saw in people when coaching principles were applied sparked a deeper curiosity and commitment.
This prompted me to pursue formal training and ICF accreditation through The Somatic School which in turn led to the establishment of Ardoch Coaching, where I now work with people seeking clarity, confidence and direction in both personal and professional spheres.
I am deeply committed to walking alongside individuals as they navigate change, reconnect with their values, and move forward with purpose. My approach is grounded, empathetic and informed by a rich tapestry of lived experience and professional expertise.
Ardoch Coaching is based in Edinburgh but I have worked with clients across Scotland and beyond. Sessions can be done online or in person.
Whether you're navigating change or simply craving more direction, I'm here to help you find clarity and purpose. Reach out to me and let's begin to move forward.
Dianne
